PRAYERS OF THE COUPLE

To the Most High: Heavenly Father, as we prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage, we seek your blessing. We thank you for bringing us together and guiding us this far. Please open our hearts to fully understand your desire for us and guide those who are joining us. Father, you are the generous God who wants to lead us in your ways. As we submit and dedicate our future marriage to you, we ask that your wisdom be actively revealed to us for the rest of our lives. Open us ears to hear what you are saying and asking of us, guide us through the difficult seasons, and guard us from getting off course in our marriage.

Lord, we surrender this whole process of celebrating our union, and we invite your Holy Spirit to take full control over every step of the way in this wedding. Sweet Jesus, we ask you to rebuke any confusion or distractions from the enemy and we ask you to keep our hearts and eyes set on you. As our Buckler may you strengthen and guide us when things get overwhelming. Holy Spirit, touch each an every person, guest, vendor, family, and friends involved and we pray for protection and safety as we travel abroad. We thank you and declare your glory, blessing and favor over this beautiful love celebration. Amen.
